The quintessential Miami cruise. Start at the southern tip of South Beach and work your way north along Ocean Drive, past the Art Deco hotels and the neon glow. Turn onto Collins Avenue and continue through Mid-Beach to Bal Harbour. Best at sunset or after dark when the lights come on. Speed limit is low, but this is about the scene, not the speed.
MacArthur Causeway
The bridge connecting downtown Miami to South Beach offers wide-open views of the bay, the cruise ships, Star Island, and the skyline. The road is smooth, the speed limit is 45 MPH, and the photo opportunities are endless. Cross at golden hour for the best light.
