How do marina drop-offs and parking work?
Charters leave from different docks, and the marina sets the parking rules. How do you time delivery around departure and return?
Monarc delivers to hotels, residences, and airports; standard delivery hours run 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily, with earlier or later handoffs confirmed case by case. Pickup or delivery is $100 each way on 1-2 day rentals when selected, and free on rentals of 3 days or longer. The sequence that works:
- For an early charter, take delivery the evening before, so the walkaround and cooler loading do not compete with a departure time.
- Leave a real buffer. Boats leave on schedule. Be parked and unloading well before boarding.
- Decide the return plan in advance: pickup at the marina, your hotel that night, or the next morning.

How do you handle sand, salt, and wet gear?
Cleaning charges for sand, spills, and unusual interior wear are real, and they come out of the same deposit hold that covers fuel and mileage. A marina day is easier on a car than a beach day if you plan for it:
- Dry bags and a towel bin. Wet swimsuits and towels go into sealed bags, then a bin in the cargo area, never onto leather seats.
- Rinse feet and gear at the dock if there is a rinse station.
- Coolers travel closed and upright on a mat or towel. Melted ice plus a hard stop is a wet carpet.
- Sunscreen and dye. Wipe hands before touching leather; keep damp, dark towels off light upholstery.

How do you handle the sunset return through evening traffic?
Afternoon charters come back around dusk, which is also the evening traffic window on the causeways into South Beach and Brickell.
